Mary Crane Collection
Mary W.A. Crane is recognized as the founder of the Great Pyrenees breed in the United States. The Historic Preservation Committee has been entrusted with many of her old photos, kennel records, etc. She left the bulk of her estate to the Dog Museum in St. Louis. Thanks to the hard work of Jo Stubbs, we were able to get the collection loaned to us for a three-year period in order to copy and identify photos, kennel records, and correspondence.
